About Us

Dennis and Glenys Tranter have been working among Australia's Indigenous people for nearly 20 years.

They started their work with Australian Indigenous Ministries back in the 90's in a place called Borroloola.

Their family of 4 boys aged between 14 and 6 lived there working and ministering to the people there.

When the 2 youngest boys finished schooling, they moved to Newcastle NSW to settle the boys into local churches and get jobs.

Dennis & Glenys planned to return to the NT after 1 year's furlough. Man has plans, but God works according to his own.

Due to the boys struggling to settle into 'white society' and some health issues, we were not able to go back as planned.

Dennis is working part time as a prison chaplain at Tamworth. He commutes to Tamworth from Woodberry. He works 3 days one week, and 2 days the following week.

Glenys is working from home. She is developing biblical teaching material for Indigenous people living in remote communities. This involves writing material and  recording it for distribution.
